A series of free talks to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the publication of the first two volumes of The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien in 1954. You will need to register for each talk here but registration is free.
The talks will be given in-person by a variety of Oxford scholars and guest speakers and are aimed at members of the public, introducing some of the key and emerging discussions around Tolkien's masterpiece.
