Holly Ordway is the Cardinal Francis George Professor of Faith and Culture at the Word on Fire Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MA in English from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and serves as the Charles Williams Subject Editor for the Journal of Inklings Studies. She is the author of Tolkien’s Modern Reading: Middle-earth Beyond the Middle Ages, winner of the Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies, and Tolkien’s Faith: A Spiritual Biography. Based in the US, she travels regularly to lecture on Tolkien in the US, Canada, the UK, and, recently, France.
